Barrow Society of Artists Exhibition 2025 at the Dock Museum.
Celebrating local artists' work on the Temporary Exhibition Floor at the Dock Museum - from April 12th to June 15th. Over thirty local artists have come together and been creative to present a showcase of Original Art Work. We hope you will be as delighted with the result as we are.
The Exhibition is free to view at your leisure so what better way to spend a wet day or for that matter a hot day taking in the 'Barrow Society of Artists Creative Venture' and just checking out the fabulous surroundings of the Dock Museum. There is a Café, parking, disability access, children's play area and a permanent display giving the creation history and progress of Barrow in Furness it people and places. The Temporary Art Exhibition by Barrow Society of Artists runs from April 12th until 15th June so don't miss it!
I am sure you will agree the Exhibition this year is exceptional. Current members range from beginners, through to hobby artists and accomplished professionals. We have regular meetings as members where we discuss art, hold demonstrations, workshops and just enjoy being passionate about original art work. There has been Artists teaching Artists since 1953 at Barrow Society of Artists.
Because we are local Artists we take inspiration from the area we live in so many of the paintings will resonate as local places and events and people of interest. There are many different styles and genres covered.
Most of the Art Work is for Sale and Artists love to see a little red dot to show someone appreciated their work. Ask the Dock Museum staff if you are interested in purchasing some original art for your home from the Exhibition.
